My product will focus on more of business-to-business selling, but I believe that there is a market of individuals that will especially enjoy buying my products from the businesses that buy them.
My customer avatar is a 27 year old fit woman that is probably a few years newly off her parents health insurance plan, and is looking to save money and not give up her dedication to Soul Cycle and her yoga studio. These memberships are expensive, and with the growing expense of being a young adult, she wants to be more conscious in her spending ways. She just moved to New York City, and lives in a high-rise apartment building in Tribeca. She loves Tribeca because it is a unique, more tone-downed version of New York City, as compared to Times Square.
My avatar works for a marketing agency and loves her job. She was recently promoted and is excited to continue her career in marketing. She probably drives a Volkswagen Jetta or a Toyota Prius. She does not have any children yet, but is recently engaged and is looking to save up for her wedding and before starting a family.

Hi Meghan, I think this is a great customer avatar because it is exactly what I would've thought about your offering. I think this is exactly the type of person who would love to benefit from this because of the fact that they are so young and newly off of their parents' health insurance plan, so they'll do anything to save some money on this new expense!
ReplyDeleteHi Meghan, I am impressed with the amount of thought you clearly put into creating your customer profile. What I really like about the profile is that you gave reasons and background that lead me to understand their thought process for wanting to try your product. This will be really helpful for you going forward as you will be able to think on another level why your customer base will want to use your product (save money because of an upcoming engagement).
ReplyDeleteHi Meghan, loved your avatar, she seems like a happy, well-rounded young woman who knows what she wants and will get it! It’s easy to be on your own for the first time and realize you must give up certain things you loved to do for lack of funds. I think your idea will benefit many young women especially and will then moving forward will be good for young men too.
